Her clinical focus spans complex trauma, life transitions, anxiety, parental wounds, codependency, and family and couples dynamics. Her work is grounded in a strengths based philosophy, helping clients access their own inner resources, shift entrenched patterns, reconnect with their innate capacity to heal, and move toward greater peace, belonging, and emotional wellbeing.

Sabrina Hadeed, Ph.D.

Sabrina Hadeed is a therapist and licensed facilitator who brings her Syrian American bicultural identity to the heart of her work: the experience of living between identities and cultures and searching for belonging is a familiar one to her, and it consistently inspires her to work from a lens of intersectionality and lived experience.

How Sabrina works

  • Clinical and evidence-based

Grounded in licensed clinical practice and the psychotherapy research the trials were built on.

  • Somatic and body-led

The body read as closely as the conversation: what someone is carrying is often physical before it has words.

  • Trauma

Trauma-informed work, including complex and developmental trauma carried over years.

  • Grief and loss

Bereavement and prolonged grief, including losses that were never fully mourned.

We felt years feeling stuck. Our mushroom experiences helped us finally find the clarity we needed to move forward. Honestly, we recommend everyone we know try microdosing or a mushroom experience to get to know themselves and each other. There is no doubt, without this support we would still be stuck and miserable. It helped us individually and as a couple. We have never been happier. We also could not recommend Sabrina enough. She has a way of guiding and challenging that is almost like a magician, disarming and wise.

Working with Dr. Sabrina was a powerful and deeply supportive experience. From the start, her background as a trauma-informed therapist was evident—she brought a level of skill, intuition, and steadiness that made me feel safe enough to really let go. I was navigating significant loss and major life transitions, and during the journey, it felt at times like she was a tender mother, a wise grandmother, and an intuitive guide all in one. Her presence in preparation, during the ceremony, and through integration allowed me to move through grief, uncover insight, and reconnect with parts of myself I hadn’t accessed in years. This experience was a true turning point.

Journeying with my mom under Dr. Sabrina’s guidance was something I’ll never forget. She created a space that felt safe, real, and tender. With her calm and intuitive presence, we were able to let our defenses down—after years of being guarded—and meet each other in a new way. It wasn’t always easy, but something softened between us. We found words we hadn’t said before, listened more openly, and began to reconnect with a kind of love and truth that had been buried. It was healing in the truest sense. The biggest surprise was just how much we got out of the preparation and integration. I thought the medicine session would be the biggest part but honestly I’d say it was just one part of the bigger healing experience. And moving forward we have a different softer way to communicate.
